Industry:

We invest exclusively in new ventures operating within the $2 trillion U.S. Healthcare industry. Examples of sectors in which we invest include:

• Medical technologies (e.g., diagnostics, devices, and equipment)
• Healthcare services (e.g., physician-partnered clinical services, consumer internet, BPO)
• Healthcare IT

Stage: We are early-stage venture investors, typically in the first or second round of institutional capital (Series A or B). We occasionally invest in the Seed round of a particularly promising technology, and we generally prefer to invest at the growth stage in healthcare service companies - that is to say, once a profitable unit economic model has been demonstrated.

Round: We generally invest $2-6 million per round and target $4-12 million in total capital invested over the life of a company, but are flexible based on the needs of the company. We prefer to syndicate with other venture firms, are often the lead investors in a particular round and typically serve on the board of directors of our portfolio companies.

Geography: Santé maintains offices in Austin, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee. We invest in companies headquartered in the United States.
